 Ceide Lamh Dhearg was established in 1949 and the club has enjoyed lots of success in all age groups over the years. We won our first Senior County Championship in 1949 and since this time we have won a further 23. More recently, our Senior team won the Ulster Intermediate Championship and reached the All-Ireland semi final which we lost to Clonkill Co. Westmeath, the eventual All-Ireland Champions. On a National level we have been fortunate to win two All-Ireland feiles and have been beaten finalists on three other occasions. Our recently formed juvenile committee have worked extremely hard to encourage the growth of the sport in our area and this has resulted in a huge increase in the number of underage participants from the age of 6.
