National titles for Armagh

On the afternoon of Sunday 4th July in a crowded Keith Wood Centre, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, it was time for the main event – the Mens Open One Wall Nationals Final. Clann Eireann’s Charly Shanks had annexed two out of the previous three titles and he was back with only one thing in mind - to collect his third.

McConville Sisters bid for National Glory!

Sionainn and Aoife McConville convincingly overcame their respective opponents in Kingscourt, Cavan on 23/03/2010 to become Clann Eireann's first ever female contenders for All-Ireland Handball glory!

There were mixed emotions for Clann Eireann's McConville sisters yesterday(10.04.10) at the All-Ireland GAA Handball Juvenile Finals in Abbeylara, Co. Longford.



Shanks earns silver medal!

It was going to take a remarkable display of fitness, agility, mentality and pure talent to halt 3 times World Champion, Paul Brady in his quest for equaling the 6-in-a-row All-Ireland record, which was held by Pat Kirby(Clare) in the 70s and 7 titles in total – a record held by the legendary Michael ‘Duxie’ Walsh(Kilkenny.)



Armagh man rolls into All-Ireland Senior Final

Thanks to the new back-door system which has been introduced to the GAA Handball Championship this year, Clann Eireann’s Charly Shanks will contest the 2010 GAA HANDBALL All-Ireland 40x20 Senior Singles Final.
