Would like to welcome all Orchard County members to armaghgaa.info and if you have requests to make this place feel like home please do not hesitate to ask.
Barry has confirmed the site will close permanently and the OC now redirects to the Armagh Official site.
thanks for the welcome mate. I've no idea why it closed, just seen the message on the homepage.
Has anyone an email address for Barry btw?
I am a member of both forums and would also like to welcome all members to ArmaghGAA forum. This place can have the same buzz that the OC had and probably more to be honest. It'll take time for word to spread and for members to ease themselves into posting here but don't be afraid all, get yourselves involved in the threads and get active!
As an avid orchard county fan and member I am gutted it is gone. I look forward to being an active member here but I hope the muppets who caused the great site and the work Barry put in to wise up or stay away from this site. Living in England these sites have been a lifeline for fans like myself to keep in touch with the Armagh and GAA scene in general.
here here savo. We can assure you these bucko's won't get away with it here but we won't close just because of there comments. We will simply delete them, ban them and move on.
So is the closure due to the typical arrogant people on orchard county causing problems at every opportunity? I would really like to know full reasons, as it was one of the best sites out there!! Thoroughly enjoyed the banter and the effort brendan put in was second to none.
I loved it myself too, one of the first places I visited when I'm on browsing. Hopefully we can create the same buzz around here but it'll take time. I'd imagine we'll start to get a few members interacting with the build up to the Laois game. You'd have to contact Barry for full reasons but I know he was very annoyed with the stupid talk about young underage players and has had enough of it all.
Spread the word folks and we'll have this place growing towards the heights of Orchardcounty.
