Most games in the first half are dire though. Maybe I am being biased but still, there is going to be nothing that can compare to that match for me anyway. Another thing that stands out for me - I was 14 at the time and I rememer my older brother saying to my mum "It is out of order that we get to see this and all of our aunts, uncles, granda and grandma who followed Armagh all their lives never got to see this" and then I looked at my mum and she was in tears. Too many things that happened that day stood out for me.

    Missed Penalty.
Kerry looked to be winning it when they were a few points up on us.
Oisin gets a goal and Armagh ressurect themselves back from the dead.
Keep Kerry scoreless for a large portion of the second half.
As soon as the ball lands in McGeeneys hands the whistle is blown.
    Win by a single point.

Not to sound bias here and have always though it but since the Armagh team started to die away the championship hasn't been as exciting IMO.

The title is favourite GAA match, and I think it would be everyone's alright.

    Great day.

As you say Corn it is "favourite" rather than "best" but I think mine would be the same regardless. 2004 Munster Hurling Final, the greatest game of any sport I've ever seen. Galway-Tipp was also a cracking game. Game of the year this year by quite a long way.

I actually meant favourite in the best sense, I could see why it confused posters though.

I think I might add Kildare vs Meath 2010 QF to the list.

One of the best matches I ever saw was Offaly v Meath in the 1997 Leinster final.

The All Ireland semi finals in 1993 (Derry v Dublin) and 2006 (Mayo v Dublin) were also great games.
