Bit suprised at that myself, he obviously thinks they are on the verge of a real breakthrough or he's afraid of someone else nipping in and getting them over the line.

Seamus McEnaney to stay on as Monaghan manager
Monaghan senior football manager Seamus McEnaney is set to remain in the post for another three years.
The Corduff clubman has already spent six years in charge of the Farney team, which made an impressive run to the Ulster SFC final last month.
Monaghan were easily beaten by Tyrone in the decider and lost to Kildare in the qualifiers just six days later.
McEnaney's re-appointment is expected to be ratified by the Monaghan county board next week.
"I can't write off 2010 simply because we didn't perform for 35 minutes against Tyrone in the Ulster final," McEnaney told the Irish News.
"In my opinion Monaghan played their best football by a country mile in 2010.
"I love Monaghan football, but if I didn't feel that I was making progress then there is no way that I would be staying."
Banty is a very good manager and has restored the pride and passion in Monaghan football and owes Monaghan GAA nothing . But im not sure if he is making the right decision he has been in the jon for a very long time and i think he has taken them as far as he can and a change in management was needed.

It's a bit strange, this one. It seemed he was close to calling it a day in 2009, and I think alot of people were probably expecting him to call it a day after the Kildare defeat. The last couple of years McEnaney has talked about the time involved in management, the sacrifices he makes, the fact he has a young family and has numerous businesses to run etc etc.
But now, to say he will stay on for three more years, seems a bit like when Kevin Keegan signed a 10 year contract at Newcastle. Three years is a long time in football.
McEnaney has opted out of becoming Monaghan boss "in the best interests of Monaghan"
Paul Grimley the favourite to take over?
