    Default Armagh club Question

Hi folks, what senior and intermediate football clubs are located close to Armagh city? say within a fifteen or twenty min radius of the city itself, considering a weekend away for our team and looking for a challenge. many thanks

then Armagh Harps would suit you ok. Other than that you could look at Ballymacnab, Granemore (both top of Division 2)
no matter which great player we think of they all started their careers at a club - the club is the cornerstone of the GAA foundation - lets keep it that way

if you want to go further afield, craigavon/lurgan is only about 15 miles from Armagh. you have Clans, Clann Eireann, Tir Na Nog, Peters, Pauls, Sarsfields, Tones and of course ourselves, Eire Og. The only thing is the tones, clans & Pauls are having their pitches renovated.

We are normally pretty good at accommodating friendlies etc so if you fancy it, give me a PM with dates etc and I'll see what the management say.

that's a great help lads, much obliged, we don't know what weekend we're heading yet but i'll be back closer to the time. Also, where should we head out in the town after the game?? any must do pubs/clubs for a bit of craic, will hopefully be the start of a decent club twinning. thanks again

Keady Dwyers are 8 miles from the city and are an intermediate club at present. and as already stated Granemore and Ballymacnab are within a few miles of us also - you could get a few games in.
