    Default Armagh to split

Surprisingly only a small crowd relatively small is expected at Casement to watch South West Armagh overcome Monaghan.
    Reason
1 Some Monaghan support will not travel beyond their own county
    2. Belfast people are not interested.
3 Though 7,000 max is expected from Monaghan
4 South West Armagh force will be 5,000 or slighly less
    5. 1,000 miscelaneous disillusioned Pre 2001 Armagh fans

    So roughly 13,000
Not too bad for a first round game.

The numbers from North Mid and SE incl most of Newry are dwindling.

    The penny has truly dropped.
Armagh has had no team sionce 2001.
    The beautiful game is over.

    There will be a split.

    In future it is likely
Armagh (North Mid SE- traditionally same people) will get back its county status.
South West Armagh will be given its own independent county status.
Essentially there will be 2 GAA counties in Armagh,3 in Dublin and 2 in Cork.

If these last two threads were meant to be a wind-up they seem to have failed miserably. The most unfortunate thing from Raphael's point of view is that he seems to have gone to the trouble of going away and finding a new angle to 'rub up the natives',time waster!!!!!!

    2. Nobody from Belfast is interested.
    3. 7,000 Monaghan fans expected though (mainly young mobile workers) who can afford it.
    4. 5, 000 fans to travel rom South West Armagh (SWAMP)
    5. 1,000 disillusioned miscellaneous former Armagh fans (pre 2001) from other parts.

The numbers from North Armagh (Lurgan), Mid Armagh (City) and Newry and SE Armagh continue to decline.

The penny is slowly beginning to drop

I wish someone would drop something (heavy )on you raphael. What's this crap again about SW Armagh? Are you saying that only 6,000 Armagh fans will show up? I can tell you that the fans are right behind this team and will turn up in numbers again. So you go back to your own SWAMP and think again my friend. I can guarantee that 10,000 of our fans at least will show up to see us Armagh beat Monaghan. See you in Casement.....if you know where it is??? Jamie's the boy!!
