    Default Armagh v Dublin

Short break now to the match. What have we learned for it?

Dyas, hanratty and feeney back to the bench? mackin half forward with mallon and fin mo and toner return?

The dublin defense is poor but them in croker are a match for anyone on the day.

Tactics will be vital.... Martin in struggle imo as they are pacey forwards.

They shipped enough hammerings in Croke Park in the last couple of years to suggest that's not really the case. They choke worse than anyone there.

    Its all ticket.

I think Vernon must move to the half forward line and play Lavery with Toner in the middle of the field. Still undecided about mackin, he was very poor in the first half and maybe would count himself lucky not to have been taken off but yet in the second half he was much improved and worked very hard.

Dyas was poor and I think Finn Mo has to start against Dublin.

I think Dublin choking is down to more to the players than the venue, they always fall on the big occasion which usally just hapens to be in croke park where they play almost all of thier championship games.

Does anyone else think Armagh football will look bad if Dublin beat us?

The draw I was hoping for.

At this stage there is no point in trying to duke the challenges, this wil ltell us where we are at and we have two wins on the bounce for the momentum.

Put Donaghy on Bernard and McKeever on Alan and we are ok. We should win this.

Agreed Corn. I've said on another thread that this is far from the worst draw that we could have got. I've watched Dublin's last couple of games and see nothing to be overly afraid of. Dublin are by no means a poor team but suffer, as they do every year, by being massively over rated and hyped up.

One more question. Will this be a double header and if so who will be in it?. Dublin will be no pushover and Armagh will need to up the ante for this one. i was reading that this was the draw that the GAA was looking for bearing in mind the low attendances this year. I don't think the Dubs will show up in numbers so i'm hoping for a double header for atmosphere. Yes we can take them but only if we up our game, if not we will be beaten. Jamie will shine in the open spaces of croker but needs a supply of ball. Stevie Wonder' is at home in Croker and has put up some big performances there. Now is our chance to put Armagh where it belongs, in the limelight and in the big time. Bring them on. Jamie's the boy!
