Agree with you on that Stevie, that the Leinster Final will not be replayed following the controversy of Meath's winning score! There will be a thorough investigation into the farcas of the Leinster final, but i can't see the game being replayed!!

It's nice to get a change of scenery for the next round of Qualifiers against the dubs at Croke Park on Saturday! We have already been successful at Croker this year by winning the Div 2 title, so that should stand us to good sted come Saturday evening!!

I think if the Brogans are not allowed to play football, Dublin don't play football!! So, Donaghy and McKeever will need to be on the top of their game! I think that Andy Mallon will more likely to be marking Bernard Brogan with Donaghy picking up O'Gara, and prob Martin may be marking Keaney, so our defence will need to stand firm, which the FB line having a sound game against Fermanagh!!

Il say that Toner will get the nod in midfield with Vernon possibly joining him, depending on Lavery getting fit for Saturday, with Mackin going on to the "40" with AK and B Mallon, and the FF line unchanged!!

The Armagh team that may line out for Dublin:

    1. Paul Hearty

    2. Andy Mallon 3. Brendan Donaghy 4. Vincent Martin

    5. Paul Duffy 6. Ciaran McKeever 7. Finnian Moriarty

    8. Kieran Toner 9. Charlie Vernon

    10. Malachy Mackin 11. Aaron Kernan 12. Brian Mallon

    13. Gareth Swift 14. Steven McDonnell 15. Jamie Clarke

If Lavery fit, Vernon to be moved to Half Forward, with Mackin relegated to the bench!!

Seens this team or very similar teams named a few times now in recent times, and would have to agree this looks to be the our strongest team with perhaps Lavery coming in for Mackin. While the younger guys such as Feeney and Hanratty have done well, i would like to see Toner, Mallon, Finn Mo and Lavery (if fit) return to the starting 15

Midfield and the half forward positions have been our weakness for 3/4 years now,is there no players
in the lower divisions who haven't been looked at.I find it hard to believe that there are no decent
players who play in the lower divisions.Say for instance Derrynoose or Killean had a good midfielder
or half forward are these standard of teams looked at.

Donaghy plays in Division Three. Toner, Vernon, Moriarty, Swift, Feeney play in Division Two.

Six of our 15 starters from yesterday do not play in the top division.

I don't think the Dubs will show up in numbers so i'm hoping for a double header for atmosphere. Yes we can take them but only if we up our game, if not we will be beaten. Jamie will shine in the open spaces of croker but needs a supply of ball. Stevie Wonder' is at home in Croker and has put up some big performances there. Now is our chance to put Armagh where it belongs, in the limelight and in the big time. Bring them on. Jamie's the boy!

    The team I'd like to see is;

    1. Paul Hearty

    2. Andy Mallon 3. Brendan Donaghy 4. Barry Shannon

    5. Paul Duffy 6. Ciaran McKeever 7. Finnian Moriarty

    8. Kieran Toner 9. Charlie Vernon

    10. Martin O'Rourke 11. Aaron Kernan 12. Brian Mallon

    13. Gareth Swift 14. Steven McDonnell 15. Jamie Clarke

Backs solid as any, half backs all capable of taking a score and running at the opposition, I'd have Charlie in the middle with big Toner in Lavery's absence. I think we will see opportunities to pick up lots of breaking ball, MOR to fulfil that role and allow Mallon to take the odd charge at them. AK on 11 as I really don't see anyone else being able for it. Forwards speak for themselves

Just thought you would like to know, Dublin fans are **** scared of meeting Ard Mhacha. I was reading their web today and in a poll 58% of their fans think that they have no chance again Armagh and 42%think they have just a small chance if Dublin up their game. The posts read 'Armagh are Dublins bogey team';'Just our luck to draw Armagh' and 'the draw we didn't want'. On their site many expressed no confidence in the management with some calls for his removal. They also spoke of dissent in the Dublin camp. On the strength of this and recent Dublin performances, if we hit them hard and early (like we did with Donegal)they are liable to fall apart....like they have done numerous times before. Armagh can't afford to be slow starters and let their confidence grow, hit them hard and hit them early and we'll walk it like we did in the first match of 2003 against them in Croke Park. Jamie's the boy........... that will send them packing.
