Default Armagh v Fermanagh, Brewster Park 11th July

I've already posted on the qualifier draw thread, but thought I might as well get this thread up & running.

A better draw than I'd hoped for to be honest, obviously I'd have loved to have had home advantage again, but you can't have everything I suppose. Surely we should be able to beat Fermanagh?!? It would be nice if we had a few more players back from injury in time for the team selection & fingers crossed for no further injuries. All being well last Saturday was the start of our run through the back door, although you could sort of say we're still playing in Ulster at this stage! Derry, Monaghan, Donegal & Fermanagh & no Ulster title, ah well.

    C'MON ARMAGH.

No real stand outs in the draw, this maybe the stand out.

Jusging by yesterday, if we don't have enough for Fermanagh, we're further back than I thought.

Having watched the draw this morning, it was kind to a few teams. I think we will be quietly confident going into this one. Fermanagh are not a good side, average at best, their scoreline against Monaghan flattered them a bit, Monaghan easing off 10 mins into second half.

We will know the job at hand, and im sure as of training this week they will already be working on exploiting fermanaghs weaknesses, a trip to eniskillen not too bad, couldve been Cork/Waterford etc. I fancy Armagh to win by 6-8 points and make the next round interesting reading, with the 8 winners paired against each other.

Is the match definitely on the 11th? I thought these games were down for the weekend of 10th/11th, with most scheduled to go ahead on the Saturday?

I was told the 11th, hoping it's Saturday the 10th though as Keady have their "Armagh 2002 team v an All Ireland select" match on the Sunday.

And another big match might take away some of the crowd too if it's a later throw in. Good luck in the fundraiser by the way.

Happy enough with that draw, it's certainly not a Gimme thou.

Dilemma for POR too as Satruday's team did all that was asked of them and more on Saturday, does he revert to his favoured options, did anybody do enough to usurp the regulars? Doubt it myself - Dyas for F Mo maybe.

It certainly will be interesting. Toner will come back in obviously, but Brian Mallon could be an interesting one. Perhaps Finn Mo will come into the corner for Martin and allow Dyas to continue to in the hb line. I'd be pretty certain Dyas will start.
