Hearty over McEvoy?
I still think Hearty is a great keeper but lacking in confidence in the county jersey. At times he can play as an additional full back with his ability to catch high balls (99% of the time lately). I think McEvoy will get his chance over the next year or 2.
so its Monaghan and they will have home advantage
thoughts?
I don't think home advantage is a problem since its as good as home.
one of the harder teams to have got, a bit like us recently...blowing hot and cold. I fancy our chances though
This will be a tough encounter, the venue suits both teams well and the teams are two of the better qualifier sides and the stakes are high, it's win or go home and I am confident this is a game Armagh can win. Prediction, Armagh 2-14 Monaghan 1-12
The minors are due to play the same weekend so I hope common sense prevails and this will be a double header in Clones as our minors are due to play monaghan as well.
home advantage is not a major plus for monaghan as armagh have played in clones more often
i think monaghan r a poor enuf side & i would b very surprised if they get within 4points of armagh
