In some ways its a good draw as there will be no complacency and its better than a home draw considering the record at the Athletic grounds. A lot will depend on if Tommy Freeman plays ( typical he know has a Tyrone man defending him )and how our midfield does. But it's definitely a game that we can win.

To be honest i dont expect us to win IMO Monaghan will get plenty of scores from Finlay and they are more physical and experienced than us.

As far as i'm aware the minor match is still scheduled to be played on the sunday in newry, such madness but sure what do you expect, it made too much sense to have a double header!

Armagh played Meath in a challenge game on Saturday and won by 7 points. I'm unaware of other details at the moment due to the hush hush approach to the game. Players were asked not to give away the location of the game.

I've heard MO'R is struggling to make it for the game, hopefully that will mean charlie vernon coming in at CHF.

The only other change I would make to that team is drop Aidan O'Rourke, move Paul Duffy to his natural wing half back position and bring forker or henderson into the forward line.

I do however see the reasoning for bringing AO'R into the XV, an answer to the poor distribution against Tyrone, especially in the 1st half
