Default Armagh vs Monaghan 1st Round Ulster Championship

Is is true that the county board have decided to play this in Casement Park as it is our home game and it would be better not to play it in clones a monaghan ground?

Hope not. Always prefer Clones and it has been a home ground for Armagh for a while now. Also to do so would send out a message that we are afraid of Monaghan!

I think Clones is also under renovation, hence possible Ulster Final in Croker!
Casement would be a good venue.

Glad to hear the match is at Casement
The traditional home of Ulster GAA and the Ulster Final.
Also it will bring much needed revenue into the west of the city.

Nobody should even contemplate going to a match in Clones
changing currency, travelling into the back of beyond.
But not only that, turning our back on our own people.
Thankfully there has been a change of heart by the regime in Armagh
who now recognise their friends live in West Belfast.

There is no need now, not that there ever was, any need for the Ulster Final to be anywhere other than at Casement. That is where our people are. That is our city.
    Let us support it.

Go on ahead, I'll bite. Geographically speaking, Clones is closer to Armagh than West Belfast - why are the people of West Belfast considered 'our own people', and those of Clones are not? The only explanation can be that you are an Antrim man!

what on Earth are you talking about? in what way are Belfast natives "our people"? Belfast most certainly is not my city. have a word with yourself.

PS the Ulster final will more than likely end up in Clones unless Armagh and Down/Tyrone get to it, then it will shift to HQ.
