Big statement there Begbie. Donaghy is a very good FB and i think he is our best defender, i remember last year against Tyrone in the first round Ulster he didnt give Cavanagh a kick. Though still think Francie in his prime was one hell pf full back and while he might have been overated in his county, he was defiently underated outside Armagh, and it always annoyed me when he recieved unfair abuse, most notably Spillane, and think that gave Francie a reputation that saw referees booking Francie at any chance they got

Agree with Begbie: Francie rated far to highly and his 'cult' following made him an untouchable when it came to the chop - other players who made lesser blunders on ocassions got the gun and Francie stayed until he walked himself.

While I agree the myth was added to a lot, and that Donaghy has the potential to be better, by a fair distance in my opinion, there is no denying that Bellew was a top-class full-back and there was nobody in that squad who came close to deserving the no.3 jersey other than himself.

Drawn out ten times in qualifers draws, and in six of those we got an Ulster team. Overall it has not been kind!! Like others here I hope it goes to Cross, but will the lack of seats count against it as a Championship venue? Probably, knowing our luck!!
