McDonnell resigns rumour?

Anyone confirm? Rumours are going about that he has stepped down but i'm yet to hear confirmation on this.

If its not true its only a matter of time until it is. He is bound to walk away this year. He has lost control of "changing room" and its been embarrassing at times. Even the very warm up's before the games amateur so I would suspect every other aspect would be the same.

I agree its only a matter of time but he's not the only one who should be going. Several of the old generation in that squad should step down and let the management team gel these talented youngsters into serious challengers for sam. The other big problem is the county board, they made a balls of the new management the last time and I suspect they'll do something similar this time. Wonder if Big Joe will be interested.....No doubt McAlinden will be interested again as I know he wanted it after Joe but was over looked just like geezer and big paul were.
