Enda back according to Justin.
Never seen this one coming. He has been a fantastic player for us but hasn't been top of his game in the Orange jersey for a couple of years. Surprised to say the least but the hunger is obviously still there and he is a brilliant mentor to have for our younger players.
I know he tormented Paddy Bradley when ever they met, but we cant seriously be expected to believe that he will actually play. Starnge one.
yep enda was a great player in his day but i just dont see what he has to offer Armagh now especially that the backs are encouraged to attack at pace with every opportunity, maybe its more to do with his Pyschological input as he is very successful at that.
however management have done well to date so far and obviously know more than us
maybe derry will bring back tony scullion for the championship, if armagh have to go back to enda theres something seriously wrong, things never change. he was a great corner back, but that was nearly 10 years ago.
We need to concentrate on moving fwd we have had enough history/now ancient history re. 2002 squad playing until they quit themselves - many should have been retired ( no b---s in management teams).
Worse still are some who retire and then make comebacks - What is this all about? Certainly nothing to do with enhancing the lot of Armagh football as an All Ireland force-This looks to be more about personal profile raising rather than for the good of Armagh football.
Sorry can't see this as a good move![]()
Every Single Ball!!
Totally agree with Sliothar on this one, we need to be looking forward, we are building a team for the future and with enda coming back he might deprave one of the other potential players from getting gametime and vital experience
Some seem to be of the perception that McNulty is going to be shoehorned straight back into the first 15. There's nothing to suggest that is going to happen. In fact, I can't see him winning his place without a fairly severe defensive injury crisis. That doesn't mean that his presence in the panel is without value. He was a member of our greatest ever team, and will probably go down as one of our finest ever corner backs. The more of his ilk around our young panel the better in my eyes.
