Hi lads, thanks for the video-link,

Poor game overall I felt. Certainly way off championship pace. Happy enough with the win but we were out-played and out fought for most of the second half. Goals came at the right time and were a bit lucky with the 1st but Queeney took his one well.

We are away to Down next week, all the best to you.

    C'mon Meath!!

Although some individuals had a poor performance and some were very good I have to say overall the fight back and detemination was the encouraging. It's good to see an Armagh team with a bit of fight and determination so early on in the year.

Midfield and half forward isn't sorted yet but it's good to see the management experimenting and trying to fix it.

Clarke was missed, Stevie was excellent but on his own. Henderson and Kernan didn't make an impression

    Default Armagh Vs Meath

Is there such a thing as a good defeat?

If so, 20 minutes in 2nd half were very good and encouraging ! Team looked up for it and fit enough so McGurn must be doing his Job !

Meath are a very big team and not too many win in Navan but not a great outfit - two soft goals and a referee who has plainly done Armagh no favours over the years did the damage!

Would have easily won if Clarke or Brian Mallon was playing !
Stevie was great as our main scoring tthreat but ran out of steam !
Duffy & Andy Mallon were good but Donaghy struggled around the square !
Half back line good when on top but let Meath through too easy at other times! Still its great to see McKeever back playing again !

Half forward line needs a fair bit of tweaking - worked hard and won fair lot of break ball but don't provide scoring threat of top teams and quality of ball in 1st half was average !

Lavery does not look the answer at all in midfield- Toner on his own for a lot of game !!.

Still enough shown to beat Westmeath next week !
