Ulster Minor Football Championship
Preliminary Round
Doire v Ard Macha
12-00 noon Celtic Park
Referee: Eamon McHugh
Extra Time if required.
Thought I'd start a separate thread as talk about this game could find itself buried away on the other thread.
Decent minor league showing, but with a worrying tanking from Dublin. Derry showed alright in the league too, with draws against Tyrone and Donegal, wins over Antrim and Westmeath, and finishing with a defeat to Fermanagh, which cost them a place in the final.
With so little to go on I wouldn't be comfortable calling it either way. Expect our lads to be well drilled and to give it a good rattle though. The experience of the handful of lads around from last year could be vital.

A very dangerous fullforward line.
Interesting to see Ternan Rafferty Kilrea on the Derry team .. His father is a stalwart Maghery man and a brother of kevin Rafferty . Had Musher moved back to Maghery no doubt his son would be wearing the Orange jersey instead
