now that we know wat time it is....shall we discuss the outcome of the game. they looked incredibly strong against fermanagh in their last game but a weekend armagh already beat them in the league this season albeit by a a point. i reckn this one will also go down to the wire

Any word on Peter Carragher? I assume he's well over the knock picked up in the last game?

i know your point fully. but i reckn the team was up for this game a long time agao nd they wudnt have cared what venue they played at. That would be the work of the managers and besides. they already went to clones on monday night like they did with celtic park and esler. It seems that preparations are all in order and the only focus is on the match.

Good to hear that preparations are up to scratch, Good luck to all the lads and the management team. We should be able to win this one but it is a semi and anything can happen at Minor so keep the focus.

We should win this game today shouldn't we? Any views on the game? This team have looked very good all year and hopefully they can win today and go into the Ulster Final against our good friends Tyrone.
Mc Niece has done well all year for both school and county and so he shud be comfortable here.
The full back line, Ruari McCaughley, Colm Hoey, Ronan Finnegan have been dodgy enough on certain occasions however they should strong enough to overcome their opponents this evening.
The half back line, Dean Nugent, James King, Niall McConville, have been one of our strongest areas. They have excelled when both attacking and defending and can provide a base for attacks tonight.
The twin towers have been rebuilt in the shape of Conor Gough and Peter Carragher a lar na pairce. School rivals have turned into great partners in midfield and hopefully their dominance can continue in this sector.
The half forward line has also been weak on some occasions, however like the full back line, Simon McCoy, Aidan Forker, Barry Seeley all have great potential and hopefully they can produce it this evening.
The dominance of our full forward line has been one of the reasons why this team have done so well so far. Colin Stevenson, Paul McGeown, Ryan Rafferty have excelled throughout the campaign and the size of McGeown along with the pace of rafferty and stevenson has caused problems for many defences this year.

Obviously, I have just selected the players based on the team who started in the last two games of the championship and I have not selected a team on who I believe should start. Players such as Trainor and Conlon may well start but I have not included them here.

Good luck to the whole minor team this evening and hopefully we can do the business.

Can't disagree with any part of your take on the team, but this question is impossible to answer given how little any of us know about the opponents.

It would be great to get over Cavan and into the last 8. To have, at the least, another month and another two games together would be fantastic for the development of the players involved.
