Lucky to get to the 2nd chance saloon of an Ulster final. Have to agree with overall comments re. team and performance.

Paul McGeown needs to wise up, everyone has a bad day and it was only a matter of time through video evidence etc that a team got his number and marked him out of it.

Firstly, management reacted to this and subbed him - he didn't like it , ok, but every team is bigger than one man and he should have respect for his management and his team mates especially the one coming on to replace him.

Secondly, and more worryingly we didn't seem to have a plan B????

McKenna v good where have the management been hiding him?

Stevenson has to look up and play in his team mates especially when they are better placed than him and Forker was lucky to stay on the park, too much yapping - players who give out a lot are generally trying to deflect attention away from their own bad performance - not a good team performance and management need to get the pack back, yes we had a long wait for this one but if we repeat this performance we will have 2 more games and get our arses kicked in both of them.

i am a new member 2 the forum..and i am currently posting my first post. i was at the game in clones and i thought that the team were very below power. Firstly congrats to the team and management for reaching the final

I have a number of aguments to discuss..Firstly i dont think that Mc Geown was ignoring his team mate..i think it was frustration at the substitute as i am near sure these two boys are good friends in the panel..Yes Mc Geown did show his anger and frustration this perhaps showing lack of expieience as he still has a further year ..but yes he was nowhere near his full potential..

forker at number eleven showed well and got on alot of ball..maybe just lacked a bit of composure infront of goal but this will come to him i am sure as he looks to be one of the leaders in the team...i think people that were at the game are being very "picky" and shouldnt be so hard on our players...

finally i thought the defence was rock solid...i thought my clubmate "bobo" was very good and showed alot of expierience on and off the ball... most of them is their last year with the exception of (Hoey Mc Geown Mc Kenna and Stevenson...i think) so lets hope that they can go be successful!

Interesting point, can anyone else give a definitive run down of which players have another year at this level?

I was probably first to mention Paul McGeown,s slight petulance but I agree he is young . However I know he is an exceptional footballer but his temperament is his achilles heel. In the first half he was very wel placed to take a score but his clubmate Collie Stevenson didnt give him the ball and Collie kicked it wide . Paul stood with his hands on his hips shook his head and then stood there ,just stood there looking disgusted and continuing to shake his head until I actually shouted something to get over it and get on with the game.. Paul is minor next year and is a big player for this team .

I worked with him a lot and have great time for him but if we can spot this what will his opponents do next time out.

Aaron Findon and Shaun Oneil bot subs on the team are also underage next year.

Fair point on people being picky and I'm probably guilty of it myself but when we court YouTube and the newspaper media and bathe in the glory of the good days and the adulation, when it doesn't go right they have to be prepared to take the rough with the smooth.
